They have now been given a two bedroom flat, however, there is no flooring at the new place and they do not have the means to buy any, as the girls are in college and mum is working part-time. She always pays her bills, even going without in order to do so. We have been able to source the flooring for free, but need help with the cost of fitting. Any help you can give would be much appreciated.

She has moved into a new property with nothing and needs help with a fridge freezer so she can store some food so she doesn't have to go shopping at expensive local stores everyday.

Safe Families are supporting an 11 year old girl, who has been reunited with her mum following a period of time in foster care. The family are doing well and they have recently moved house; Mum is working really hard to make the house into a home. She would like to be able to cook meals for her daughter but the family are struggling financially. Please could you help this family with some donations towards a cooker as they make a fresh start? R is in need of help as she is struggling with debts and living on a low income after fleeing Domestic Violence. She is struggling to feed her family as she has no fridge freezer to store food after cooking it. R is reliant on food banks and is desperate to keep as much food fresh as possible. School have been amazing and a dinner lady has been cooking for the family.

T has been living in a temporary accommodation for a while after a house fire where she lost everything she had. T has now been rehoused and has managed to get a few bits and pieces for her new house from friends, but is in need of a double bed and mattress, a kettle and toaster, a television and a slow cooker to fully settle in her flat. She is on a low income as she hasn't been working, as she is still in trauma after the loss of everything. Your support will go a long way.

J has been living in hotel accommodation for the last five months. J and his family (two children) have been offered a permanent house, but as J is living on a low income at the moment he needs support to furnish his new home. They have collected some furniture and other household essentials, but family is in need of a sofa, two wardrobes and a chest of drawers to settle in their new home.

D has been in hospital for a while due to extreme pain in her leg. Her leg was eventually amputated due to the long term effects of diabetes and she is in the recovery process. D is unable to work at the moment and her benefits have not gone through yet. She needs help to top up her gas and electric, which has gone up since her return from hospital. She is also struggling to buy food, and she is on lots of medication at the moment. Please can you help us support her?

A single, isolated mum is a carer for both of her two children. Mum had suffered significant nerve damage after a traumatic labour and is in need of a small double mattress as her current one is old and doesn't provide the proper back support she needs. This mattress will enable mum to get the rest she needs to be able to continue caring for her family's needs. She currently only has a counter top fridge, which is too small and means she has to shop daily which costs too much. As she is an asylum seeker she only has enough to buy food for the week but has no extra funds to purchase large items. Her local church has donated lots of other furniture, she would be really grateful for your help to purchase a fridge freezer.

W was made homeless due to the breakdown of a relationship over a year ago, and since then he has been living in a graveyard. He has just got his first ever real home, but he has absolutely nothing except a sleeping bag and clothes donated by church. He has been given a bed which he’s absolutely delighted with, church is helping with a kettle, toaster and microwave and neighbours have given him some bits of furniture. He is still waiting on his benefits to be sorted. The floors are concrete and cold, and he would be so grateful for your help to put some carpet down.

L is a single mum of six children, the youngest of whom is just five months old and mum has some health conditions involving her heart. Her washing machine is a much used and needed facility with two teenagers, two toddlers, a baby and a nine year old. There is always a lot of washing and she is struggling without one. There is no spare money to buy one because of the increase in rent, heating and food bills, and L is on a low income. A working machine would make an incredible difference to this family.

Universal Credit pays her rent and tops-up her wages, but this still leaves little left for household items. Her two year old son is currently being assessed for an Autism diagnosis. He is able to climb over the current stairgates, which is causing mum to be worried and concerned around keeping him safe. Mum feels very ashamed to ask for help, as she is working and trying to get by, but I have explained that even people who are working are really struggling. N is struggling with depression and anxiety, due to the constant falling out of the kids. Please can you help them to get a single bed and bedding?

J, who has been a guest with us for a little while, was recently remanded in custody for a short while for historic charges, in order for the court to be able to obtain a pre-sentence report. Whilst in custody, his bike, some clothes and other items were stolen from his property. J is an enthusiastic part of our community and has really embraced the Love of Jesus, the support on offer, and really enjoys volunteering at The Message Trust. However, he feels deflated that his belongings have been stolen. A replacement bike would help him to get to appointments.

Our client, A, is fifty two years old and sadly suffered a terrible sexual assault in his own home. He cannot bear to sleep in his bed and the police have taken all his bedding for forensic examination. He now suffers with his mental health and is sleeping on his sofa. Our client's support worker feels that if the room was changed and he had a new bed and bedding, this would help him enormously. Our client only receives benefits, as he had to give up work and cannot afford to replace these items. Please could you help him have a fresh start?

L, who works with our debt centre and got into debt in a domestic abusive relationship, is making payments, but her income is very low. She has anxiety and suffers from chronic pain as her spine is disintegrating. L had a shower fitted into her social housing house a few years ago, as she can't get in and out of the bath. As she fitted it herself, there is nobody to help now that it is broken. L is having to clean herself stood up at the sink, and it would take her months to save the money needed to have it replaced.

C is a single mum who has fled domestic violence and has been given a flat after being homeless, but is waiting for her benefits to be processed. She needs a carpet for the living room, which has a concrete floor and mum is worried that the little one will fall and bang their head. This would cause stress, as her ex-partner would accuse her of neglect if he found out. The family cannot help as they are struggling themselves.
