Our client, M, who was evicted under Section 21, a no-fault eviction, has been moved by the council into a property that has no carpets. M. who is disabled, also suffers from arthritis and the cold is making her condition more painful. A carpet would make her home warmer and more comfortable.

The council has rehomed them, but they have to start from scratch, including replacing their clothes, due to the damp and mildew. The family's lives revolve around his complex needs, and he has responded well to sensory equipment in hospital, where fibre optic curtain lights have had a calming effect on him. Installing these at home would be really beneficial to O and his family. The family are dependent upon benefits and are in debt due to other expenditure to help their son. They would greatly appreciate a donation for this equipment.

She has a hole in her roof that needs fixing urgently as the leek is near to electric points. This lady, who is a regular churchgoer, has had a quote of £350 and is asking for £200 towards this.

X is living on the breadline and has had an issue with her bank which, although now resolved, means she needs help over the next few months to pay for utilities and her mortgage. She was beaten up in the past which left her with mental health issues that may have contributed to the problems she is experiencing at present. P, a single mum from India with two teenage children, has recently had to move into a new home and has no furniture. The entire family is currently sleeping on the floor and, as the weather turns colder, this will be increasingly uncomfortable. This lovely lady has worked very hard to further her education and find work, but the cost of moving has left her without the resources to furnish her children's room. P would be very grateful for any help received to make her children more comfortable

R wants to lift herself out of a rut by starting a new career as a personal trainer. She has been gifted a course with the PT Academy because the other person decided they didn’t want to do the course anymore, but they require an administration fee to transfer it to her. R has had major struggles with her mental health, and exercise really helps her. She would like to pass on this knowledge to others, helping her to feel useful again and giving her purpose.

C, an ex-serviceman who has suffered a lot of trauma as a result, is a single dad, trying to do the best for his son. He is in very poor accommodation with no hot water and heating, and his washer has broken. C, who is on basic benefits with only a few pence left currently, has no money to pay for a replacement and is having to walk two miles to the launderette. He is so low, and is really struggling to manage and look after his son properly. A new washer would make all the difference to C. Please can we help?
