Give to someone in need
Acts 435 is about giving to people directly, to help them bridge the gap when they are facing a financial crisis.
Can you help a specific person in need?
Read stories of the applicants below and give as you feel able. Any amount will make a big difference to someone who is struggling.
You can instead make a general donation and the Acts 435 team will allocate it to the most urgent requests.

Our client, a lovely lady who has learning difficulties, is forty eight years old and is so happy and smiling. She comes to our local church and has approached me for help with food and heating. Having got to the bottom of her problems, A has been paying an awful lot of her benefits to a scammer who told her she was helping children who live in poverty. Our client is now in arrears with her gas, and has no food. Please can you help with food, and gas arrears of £149. Thank you.

Total needed £100One of the lone parents SMILE works with is concerned about her son, aged twelve, who is struggling to express his emotions. He has been excluded from school after a series of angry outbursts. Mum has found a good counsellor and her son is benefitting from the sessions he has had, however, she can't afford to pay for more. We have worked with the counsellor to reduce the rate to just £20 per session and want to be able to pay for ten sessions, as we all know it will make a real difference to this young person's life.
