£120 remaining for food
A is an asylum seeker with six children who is living in temporary accommodation with no access to any benefits. They are in need of food as the food banks and church don’t have the food the children normally eat, although they have been really helpful. The family does not have anyone to help them as all the family are in a different country. The food will be bought in bulk from a retail outlet that sells all the spices and frozen food the health visitor will be taking them to pay for it .
C, who has recently fled domestic violence and has been rehoused for her safety, is autistic and struggles with her mental health, meaning she has been out of work for some time. She would love to receive help towards paint, wallpaper and flooring in her new home, in the form of a B&Q gift card. This would really help C to settle into her new home and feel safe and secure.
D, who is cohabiting, living with 3 dependent children, currently claiming Universal Credit, Child Benefit and Child DLA. Due to the cost of living, they have been struggling to afford the basics with extra needs of their disabled daughter, and the family needs help with new clothes and new bedding for her. Due to a skin condition, she cannot sleep because of the irritation this is causing. They also need somewhere to store clothes so dust doesn't get on them, which is causing more irritation.
Mum is a single parent to her three daughters. The family is struggling financially after dad passed away. We would like to help the family with a new oven as they currently do not have a safe fully functioning oven. Mum would like to be able to cook healthy meals for her three children. Please could you help to support this family? Thank you.
