She really wants to make this new flat their forever home.

JH is an elderly gentleman who receives Pension Credit. He recently moved into a ground floor flat, due to being bullied by his private landlord and his health issues. He did purchase a second-hand cooker, but it does not work and the person he bought it from is not answering his calls. JH, who has numerous health issues and has had a recent diagnosis of bowel cancer, needs a cooker to cook healthy meals, but has no family to help.

J, a single mum to three lovely children, has just been housed after sixteen months of constant moving from various temporary properties. Now that she has been housed, the entire property was empty and she is struggling to furnish her new home. So by giving towards a television, microwave and rugs, you will help towards a family having a home with some basic comforts before Christmas.

P suffers with mental health problems and is unfit for work. After spending time in supported accommodation, the family has now moved into its own property. Mum is having to sleep on the settee and the children are mostly staying with nearby relatives as they have no mattresses for their beds. L, a single parent who has been vulnerable for many years, is contending with difficult mental health and in poor living accommodation. We have been advocating for her since 2021. Mum's house is nearing completion after a very protracted and challenging period where so many issues have had to be addressed in the property. L's washing machine has just broken and is is her birthday today. We would value your help to get a new washing machine which is critical for any home.

N is a single mum of five children who recently had a fire in her kitchen and all her white goods were destroyed. She was gifted a fridge freezer, however, she is without a washing machine. N has been handwashing all the clothes, but this is taking over her life. She has piles of unwashed clothes in the living room as she's struggling to keep on top of everything. N, who is struggling with the cost of living and only receives Universal Credit for two of her children. has no spare money to fund the washer herself.

K has had to move out of private rented accommodation with her three children, due to major damp and water ingress issues which were so bad they caused a small electrical fire. The council has rehomed them, but they have to start from scratch, including replacing their clothes, due to the damp and mildew. This hard working lady, who is on a low income, has suffered a stroke and is subsequently unable to work, due to her disability. She can no longer get out of the chair herself and is in need of a riser recliner chair. Please can you help her?

E is a single mother with three children who are living in a council accommodation. She has recently been diagnosed with cancer in her neck, which has now been removed. On Friday, mum returned to the hospital for radio-therapy. As a result, she needs to sleep apart from her children (in the living room), to protect them from the radiation she is emitting. A sofa-bed is necessary to protect E's children and give her peace of mind.

P, a single mum from India with two teenage children, has recently had to move into a new home and has no furniture. The entire family is currently sleeping on the floor and, as the weather turns colder, this will be increasingly uncomfortable. This lovely lady has worked very hard to further her education and find work, but the cost of moving has left her without the resources to furnish her children's room. C, an ex-serviceman who has suffered a lot of trauma as a result, is a single dad, trying to do the best for his son. He is in very poor accommodation with no hot water and heating, and his washer has broken. C, who is on basic benefits with only a few pence left currently, has no money to pay for a replacement and is having to walk two miles to the launderette. He is so low, and is really struggling to manage and look after his son properly. A new washer would make all the difference to C. Please can we help?

V's husband passed away a few years ago and she struggled to stay in the property. She broke her elbow a year ago and because she couldn't live on her own, stayed with a friend, but now her elbow is healing, she has to move out. V, who now has a flat, has just a television that a friend gave her. She desperately needs a double bed to start her off, as she has three crumbling discs and arthritis, and her elbow is still healing. V only receives disability benefits and has no spare income for the bed. Please could we help her?

EA is thirty one year old mum to a two year old boy. They have spent several months in emergency accommodation as a result of domestic violence and financial abuse. They have been rehoused this week in a remote location, but have no washing machine, having to move in with crisis and care essentials and just their personal effects. EA is engaging well with all support, but struggling financially with childcare/nursery costs and general budgeting. Any help with a replacement washing machine would ease the stress of laundry days and allow her to feel normal again.
