Give to someone in need
Acts 435 is about giving to people directly, to help them bridge the gap when they are facing a financial crisis.
Can you help a specific person in need?
Read stories of the applicants below and give as you feel able. Any amount will make a big difference to someone who is struggling.
You can instead make a general donation and the Acts 435 team will allocate it to the most urgent requests.

L receives Employment and Support Allowance and Personal Independence Payment due to ongoing health conditions. Last week her washing machine broke and she has no savings to replace it with. Obviously this is causing L much inconvenience and upset, and it would be great to replace her washer before the busy Christmas period.
Still £200 left to donate
Total needed £200E, who is struggling on her low income to buy a washing machine, receives Universal Credit and her son receives Personal Independence Payment. Mum is a full-time carer for her son who has a brain injury and, due to his condition, she needs to wash his clothes and bedding daily. As the washer no longer drains and must be done manually, E finds this difficult to do physically. She is worried that the washer will completely fail, leaving her no way to wash her son's clothes, and no choice but to put her son in respite until she can get one.
