Current needs
C, a mum of two children aged twelve and thirteen, suffers from depression, anxiety and panic attacks, and is a recovering alcoholic. Recently made redundant, and nearly evicted, she is separated from her husband who currently has the children living with him whilst his wife has been dealing with health concerns. C receives Universal Credit and Personal Independence Payment and is making progress in paying off her debts. She is moving to be closer to her children but is unable to cover the removal costs, therefore, we are requesting £200 to help with this new start.

Her fifteen year old daughter is autistic with severe mental health concerns. She has not been attending school, awaiting an Education Health & Care Plan. Total needed £200L lives with her daughter and her family, due to her daughter being her carer, has ovarian cancer. She had a 16.5lb tumour removed last year and received chemotherapy, and also has a hole in the back of her eye. L receives pension credits and Personal Independence Payment. The family live in a council property which only has a small bath and as L is unable to get up in order to get out of the bath, we are requesting funding for grab rails and shower plumbing parts to enable her to wash safely and with dignity.
