£0 remaining for a microwave oven
F has a family of three children, aged fourteen, nine and six years old, and a husband with a serious health condition which means he can no longer work. The family has recently been moved into the local area and F has visited our community hub to seek support with setting up their new home. We've managed to get them a second-hand washing machine, sofas and cooking equipment, but mum would really like a microwave oven to help with the family meals. Any donations towards this would be gratefully appreciated.
The St Vincent de Paul Society group in Wolverhampton has recently started supporting AW who is a sixty five year old lady experiencing many disability and health concerns. She is not working, is in receipt of Personal Independence Payment, Pension credit and State Pension (recently started). AW's vacuum cleaner recently stopped working, so the request is to help her with a purchase of a specific model that is lighter to use than her old one and has an anti-allergy feature and tools, as AW suffers with multiple allergies.
We are providing Food Bank help for mum who lives with her six month old baby. She lives in a flat, but has no cooker. Mum is unable to work, due to mental and physical disabilities, and has very little help from her family. With your kind donations, we want to provide an electric cooker.
This teenager has no contact with her mum, and her dad is homeless. She was living with her partner’s family; however, due to breakdown in relationship, K needed to leave their home. She is with her friend’s family, who have agreed to support her. K is currently sleeping on a camp bed which is broken and uncomfortable. She needs a bed to meet her basic needs and to reduce the risk of her becoming a looked after child by the local authority. With your kind donations, we wish to help.
