L became homeless after being made redundant, and the breakdown of his relationship, which greatly affected his mental health. He has now secured a new property which he is hoping to make home, but it is unfurnished. He has managed to obtain a few items through donations and grants, but doesn't have a washing machine. As L has been homeless and unemployed, he has no savings, and his benefits only just cover daily living costs, so he can't afford to purchase one himself.
