£160 remaining for two beds
A, who has two children aged six and four, has asked for support because her children's beds were damaged by a recent flood and the mattresses are now riddled with damp and mould. A is finding it difficult to replace the beds as she is struggling financially. Dealing with the aftermath of the flood and the extra burden of having to replace so many things in her home is having an impact on her mental health. Please can you support A?
J, who lives alone and has severe mental health problems which prevent her from working, has carers who call in and help her, but she is not proficient in looking after her money or her house. She has a number of appliances that have broken and not been replaced. J's carers feel that she really needs to replace her fridge freezer, which would save her the money she is presently spending on ready meals and take-aways, and also help her have a more healthy diet. However, J has not got the money to replace the appliance.
E is a single mother who is working hard to meet the needs of her three children, but doing this alone is a challenge at times. Her oven has broken and, in the build up to Christmas, the family of four are living on microwave meals. It would be such a blessing if we could help towards the cost of a new one. E has offered to pay towards this, but being able to help her out with this would be fantastic.
N is working hard to care for her twelve year old daughter who has multiple complex disabilities. Part of this is sorting and organising her medical supplies which, at the moment, are kept on a chair or in a cardboard box. These storage solutions would really help N to keep them secure and neat, especially with her inquisitive four year old son wanting to get into everything. Your donation would be such a blessing!
