£70 remaining for a cooker
My client is a pensioner who lives alone and is unable to cook a warm meal due to not having a cooker. Struggling financially, she is unable to afford such a large purchase and has come to the charity to ask for help. All support will be greatly appreciated by my client, who is having family to visit over the Christmas period and would like to be able to cook for them whilst on their visit. She is feeling stressed at the thought of not being able to do this for them.
This young man, who comes from a challenging background with no role models, has limited support from friends or family and relies on charity. He is in need of a coffee table and sofa, to make his home comfortable, and a vacuum cleaner. It would also be really helpful to get this young man some curtains. He would be delighted if someone was to help change his outlook on life. Thanks for supporting this young man's first chapter in living independently
This lady, who is sixty four years of age and lives alone on a low income, has incontinence issues, mobility problems and several health issues. She is in desperate need of a new mattress, but does not have the funds to buy a replacement. This lady also has medications that need to be stored in a fridge, but her fridge freezer is broken. She cannot afford to buy a small fridge and does not have access to some of her medications that are impacting on her health and wellbeing.
This client, who was moved from domestic violence and has no family to help, has lived in and out of care and has no life foundation or stability. She is currently on medication for depression. The police implemented her move from violence, and her former partner took her bank card and shoes to keep her in the house. This client has no furniture or kitchen appliances and needs a fridge freezer to store food. She is desperate for help, which exacerbates her depression, and has benefit which only pays her bills. Please can you help?
