£0 remaining for tiling for an accessible shower
L lives with her daughter's family, as her daughter is her carer due to L's ovarian cancer. She had a 16.5lb tumour removed last year and received chemotherapy, and also has a hole in the back of her eye. L receives Pension Credits and Personal Independence Payment. The family live in a council property which only has a small bath, and L is unable to get up and out of the bath. We are requesting funding for tiling to create an accessible shower area to enable her to wash safely and with dignity.
T, a single parent who also works as a nurse, is struggling with debt and trying to make ends meet, but has no recourse to public funds. In order to get to her shift on time in the morning, mum has to take a taxi journey of nine miles to work, as she is unable to drop off her young daughter at breakfast club before school early enough to be able to take a bus. Please would you help to support her as she tries to care for her child while finding ways to get herself back on her feet?
R lives with her partner and two children aged three and four. Her four year old has autism and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). Mum is in receipt of Universal Credit and Child Benefit. Her chest freezer has broken; she goes shopping once a month in order to batch buy and the freezer means the food lasts longer. Due to her son's conditions, he is a picky eater and going shopping is difficult. We are requesting support for her to be able to replace her freezer.
