£200 remaining for a washing machine
L receives Employment and Support Allowance and Personal Independence Payment due to ongoing health conditions. Last week her washing machine broke and she has no savings to replace it with. Obviously this is causing L much inconvenience and upset, and it would be great to replace her washer before the busy Christmas period.
S came to the UK as a refugee and successfully set up and ran his own business for a time. Sadly, following Covid, this failed and he also ended up losing his home. He was homeless for two years, mainly sofa surfing, but has now moved into his own flat. S is surviving on Universal Credit and has little to spare to furnish and equip his new home. He would be very grateful for help to buy an electric cooker as he currently has no means of preparing hot food.
S, a single mum with two young children aged five and two years old, is in receipt of Universal Credit and Child Benefit. Her old fridge freezer has stopped working and she has had to get rid of it. S is trying to get herself back on her feet with her outstanding debts and is unable to afford a replacement fridge freezer herself. With two young children, a fridge freezer would be a massive help to the family. If you can help fund this item, that would be amazing. Thank you so much.
C's washing machine has broken. She has two young children, one of whom is autistic and wets the bed at night, so mum is using the washer every day. Not having one is causing immense stress. Her partner has schizophrenia so can't live with C and help with the children, so she is unable to work and only able to claim low benefits, leaving her unable to afford to replace the washer. Please could we help her?
