Give to someone in need
Acts 435 is about giving to people directly, to help them bridge the gap when they are facing a financial crisis.
Can you help a specific person in need?
Read stories of the applicants below and give as you feel able. Any amount will make a big difference to someone who is struggling.
You can instead make a general donation and the Acts 435 team will allocate it to the most urgent requests.

E suffers with Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) and anxiety and is unable to work. She is in receipt of Universal Credit and is in the process of claiming Personal Independence Payments. She has outstanding rent arrears and is struggling financially. Her existing fridge freezer is not working and is not freezing. She would be able to shop and cook more economically with a working fridge freezer. Please can you help her with this request - she says it would make a massive difference. Thank you.
Still £190 left to donate
Total needed £200R lives alone and has not been able to work for over a year due to mental health problems. She suffers from post-traumatic stress disorder and has frequent panic attacks. She receives Universal Credit and Personal Independence Payments and just about manages to cover her general spending, but has little left over for anything else. Her washing machine has broken down and there is no way she can afford to replace it herself. She would really appreciate your help.
Still £175 left to donate
Total needed £185S came to the UK as a refugee and successfully set up and ran his own business for a time. Sadly, following Covid, the business failed and he also ended up losing his home. He was homeless for two years, mainly sofa surfing, but has now moved into his own flat. S receives Universal Credit but has little to spare to furnish and equip his new home. He would be very grateful for help to buy a sofa as he currently has nothing but the floor to sit on.
