£70 remaining for gas and electric
Our applicant is struggling for money to pay for gas and electric. The family, with three young children will be cut off or put into further debt in two days time. This will be repeated unless mum can put extra onto the account to clear arrears from last month when she was in the same position. Dad cannot work currently, due to poor physical health and mental illness. Mum just needs to clear the small amount of arrears so that she can keep the gas and electric on for the next few months.
This family have just moved into new accommodation. C is a lone parent who is living with her two young children and receiving Universal Credit and Child Benefit. She had to flee her family home, due to domestic abuse, and moved temporarily into a single room in a hotel, but has now secured permanent accommodation. At this stressful time, C would greatly benefit from some donations towards bedroom furniture, namely three chests of drawers and two pairs of curtains, to help make a home for her children.
H, a single mother, and her two children are living in a council flat. Mum is on a low income supplemented by benefits, with no other source of income. She has no carpets in her flat, which has resulted in noise disturbances and anti-social behaviour from her neighbour, which involved the police. H is reaching out for assistance to be able to carpet two rooms in her flat, thus resolving the ongoing noise disturbances and creating a peaceful living environment for herself and her children.
We are supporting a mum and her three young children move into a new tenancy for a fresh start after a violent burglary took place in their old home. They lost a lot of items and are short on money to replace everything. Mum has asked whether she could have help with buying a fridge freezer as she can't take the old one with her and the new tenancy does not include white goods.
