£200 remaining for a washing machine
C, who is self-employed, is a single mum to her teenage son since his dad passed away in 2018. Mum recently had to have her gall bladder removed and is currently recovering from this surgery. This has, unfortunately, resulted in a limited capacity for work and obviously limited earnings. Last night her washing machine packed in. C is able to put some money towards replacing it, but would be grateful if donors could help her with the balance. She wants to avoid getting into debt.
This family have just moved into new accommodation. C is a lone parent who is living with her two young children and receiving Universal Credit and Child Benefit. She had to flee her family home, due to domestic abuse, and moved temporarily into a single room in a hotel, but has now secured permanent accommodation. At this stressful time, C would greatly benefit from some donations towards bedroom furniture, namely three chests of drawers and two pairs of curtains, to help make a home for her children.
We are supporting a mum and her three young children move into a new tenancy for a fresh start after a violent burglary took place in their old home. They lost a lot of items and are short on money to replace everything. Mum has asked whether she could have help with buying a fridge freezer as she can't take the old one with her and the new tenancy does not include white goods.
R has cancer and had to go to Manchester for Proton Beam Laser Therapy. A previous request to Acts 435 paid for his travel to and from Birmingham. Sadly, the treatment did not work and the tumour has grown, invading his spinal column and causing his skin to die leaving craters on his body. He receives palliative care and has gone home to be with his daughter and granddaughter. He needs a memory foam mattress to cope with the state of his skin and as he can only lie on his right hand side.
