C, a mum of two children aged twelve and thirteen, suffers from depression, anxiety and panic attacks, and is a recovering alcoholic. Recently made redundant, and nearly evicted, she is separated from her husband who currently has the children living with him whilst his wife has been dealing with health concerns. Che receives Universal Credit and Personal Independence Payment. She is moving to be closer to her children and needs furniture, including a table and chairs to make a home for her family. We are requesting £200 to help with this new start.
K, a cleaner for a wealthy lady, has been evicted, needed to find new housing and has lost her job. She is very dynamic and a go getter, but is beset with health problems. K has chronic arthritis and is about to have an operation on her foot which will mean she won't be able to work for twelve months. She has been given housing and we are helping her furnish it, but it comes without a cooker. Please can you help K to get a cooker?
