£0 remaining for Council Tax and water rate bills
K is a hard working mum of three children who are at school and nursery. Her partner has recently left and she is struggling with the household bills, and needs some help until she can sort out a few things, i.e. nursery fees and any contribution she can get off her partner. K has really struggled asking for help as she is very proud. Please can we help her to pay her Council Tax and water rates bills?
D is a full-time carer to her son who suffers severely with ADHD (attention deficit hyperactivity disorder) and autism. She always has such a bright outlook on life and puts all her efforts into caring for her son. Money is very tight in the home, as they have to rely on benefits, due to D being unable to work. D has been longing to decorate her home as it has not been done for ten years. She told me that if she could brighten it up, it wouldn't be so depressing. D would love to add a blind, a few cushions and a rug to make her home more homely. Thank you!
M is fifty six years of age and lives alone. He has suffered with his mental health for many years, is unable to work and has to rely on benefits. We are supporting M with debt advice as he could not take the pressure of these debts any longer and was at breaking point. He is so looking forward to having a fresh start free from debt. M rang this morning as he has no food in the house or gas and electric on his meters. Our local food bank can give some food, but M doesn't get paid for another two weeks!
J has a water bill from his last property that due to relationship breakdown wasn't paid. He was receiving debt/ bailiff letters and calls. He recently stopped work due to his mental health getting worse. His children stay with him every weekend but he still gets the lowest Universal Credit, barely enough to pay his bills and eat. He does not have enough to pay the debt, even in repayment his only other option is insolvency, and this would have a huge impact on his financial situation long term.
