£200 remaining for fuel for a generator
This man has stomach cancer and is living in a caravan off grid. He heats the van with a generator, fuelled by petrol. His generator is using £20 a day to keep him warm. I am requesting your help to supply him with 10 days of petrol to run his generator, so he has money left to put fuel in his car to attend the hospital. I am in conversation with Rural Action Derbyshire about the generator costs and they said they may be able to help. I am worried about this mans health as it gets colder.
This thirty four year old single mum of two, aged sixteen and one, moved into a house fifteen months ago and is currently paying off debts owed from when she was younger. Her youngest child is in need of a toddler bed with storage, due to the size of the room. As mum is in receipt of benefits, her income is tight and she is struggling to save, once bills and debt payments have been paid. Please can you help towards this bed with storage and a mattress? Thanks.
Having spoken with our client, they are not in a good place. Their old bed needs replacing, as does their mattress. The client has a long history of mental health issues. Whilst the client tries to manage their situation, they are unable to do so and need help. This, in turn, produces a feeling of failure which exacerbates their depression. Their partner is their full-time carer so their income is purely dependant on benefits.
This client is a young parent who had a difficult childhood and was in local authority care for many years. She recently fled from an abusive relationship in order to keep her child, and suffers with poor mental health, due to past experiences. This client moved into a hostel when she left the perpetrator and has now been offered an unfurnished tenancy. She cannot afford to set up her new home as she is reliant upon Universal Credit. Could you please help towards the cost of a washing machine?
