£125 remaining for an eye test and glasses
This lady is a Ukrainian refugee who is on Universal Credit and has no other income. She supports her daughter, who is a student, and also does not receive Universal Credit. Mum recently had an eye test and was prescribed glasses for reading. Since then her long-vision glasses have broken in half and cannot be mended. The optician has recommended that she has another eye test and glasses, but she cannot claim for these as she has already had one eye test and cannot claim again for another two years.
