£100 remaining for a hoover
L, a single lady who has been referred by her local authority for our assistance, is in receipt of Universal Credit and has health and debt issues. She does her utmost to keep her home tidy, but her existing hoover is no longer functioning properly. The problem is made worse by L's health issues which mean she struggles manoeuvring the hoover round her home. If you can help her with this request, that would be brilliant. Thank you.
P suffers with mental health problems and is unfit for work. After spending time in supported accommodation, the family has now moved into its own property. Mum is having to sleep on the settee and the children are mostly staying with nearby relatives as they have no mattresses for their beds. P receives Universal Credit, but is struggling to meet her everyday living costs and there is no way she can afford to buy these herself. She would be very grateful for your help.
S came to the UK as a refugee and successfully set up and ran his own business for a time. Sadly, following Covid, this failed and he also ended up losing his home. He was homeless for two years, mainly sofa surfing, but has now moved into his own flat. S is surviving on Universal Credit and has little to spare to furnish and equip his new home. He would be very grateful for help to buy an electric cooker as he currently has no means of preparing hot food.
C has been living in temporary accommodation, but has just been offered a permanent flat of her own, however, it is unfurnished and she has no furniture or white goods of her own. C receives some benefits, but they only just cover her basic living costs and don't leave her much to save towards all the items she needs. She has been sourcing as much as she can from friends or Freecycle. C's most urgent need is for a bed so that she has somewhere to sleep.
