£200 remaining for a tumble dryer
A, who has two children, aged twelve and fourteen, is caring for her mum who is recovering from ovarian cancer. The eldest has a diagnosis of attention deficit disorder (ADD) and is having daily nosebleeds, and the youngest has speech dyspraxia and autism. A became homeless last year and was placed in a house with mould. It is taking four days to dry clothes, due to not being able to put the heating on for health. A is in receipt of Universal Credit, Carers Allowance and Disability Living Allowance (for the children). We are requesting support for a tumble dryer for this family.
S is on benefits and, as all her money goes on bills, she has no money left over to be able to buy a mattress. The current mattress is in really poor condition and S can feel the base of her bed, which has now given her a very painful back. Please can you help her to replace the double mattress?

A, a single man who is living in shared accommodation, has a number of health conditions, including myelofibrosis; gout; anxiety and depression. He works ten hours a week, but his health means he is unable to work more hours. A receives Universal Credit and Housing Benefit, but his income does not cover his outgoings and he is reliant upon community larders. A's bed is very old and is not supportive of his health conditions, but he is unable to afford a new one.
