£0 remaining for a three month community gym membership
J, who has osteoarthritis and balance problems, has had a three month trial at the Community Gym (kindly funded through Acts 435) and has found this greatly beneficial for his wellbeing. He has noticed an improvement in his balance and we would be very grateful for any donations to allow J a further three months membership, in order to continue this support and improvement in his health. We are supporting with benefits so that J will hopefully be in a better financial situation and able to self-fund in the future.
H, who is a young, single parent to a one year old boy, has childhood trauma which means that she doesn't have any family network or support. The relationship with her son's father broke down and this resulted in her being housed in a women's refuge. H has now been given a flat and is in the process of getting this set up and furnished, which is challenging on her budget and without any other support. The family are in need of an electric cooker for the kitchen.
This lady, who has disabilities, is struggling greatly with her current sleeping arrangements which is making her back problems worse.
