£200 remaining for a bedroom carpet
TP is a lone parent who has two young children, aged three and one. They are currently living in a privately rented property which is old and difficult to heat. It has no white goods, no carpets in the children's bedrooms or any form of storage. I have managed to connect with other funders to secure a washing machine and a new freezer, for which he was very grateful. I would further like to help by getting my client a carpet for the children's bedroom.

This family are asylum seekers from Afghanistan who arrived in Newcastle yesterday. They have some limited furniture and beds, but no toaster and, crucially, no television for the children to watch. Their carpets are very dirty and the little girl has already got a nasty rash which they feel is due to the dirty carpets. Your help would be greatly appreciated.
This gentleman has been in temporary accommodation and is being supported by the Homeless Team and Housing Association to secure a bungalow. He has mobility issues due to damage caused as a victim of warfare and uses crutches to mobilise; he is currently working with an Occupational Therapist for equipment he needs within the home. He is in need of support to purchase an electric cooker, which he cannot afford due to his low income and the costs of moving.
