£0 remaining for school uniform and shoes
A is a single parent to two young girls. The eldest is starting at secondary school in September and that school's uniform policy is that all pupils wear the branded garments with the school logo as standard, so no one is singled out for looking different- but this comes at a huge expense. Can you help this Christians Against Poverty client to ensure her daughters have all that is required for the start of term?
This single mum has health issues and significant care responsibilities for a teenager and two adult children, one with pancreatitis stage three, and the other suffers from epilepsy. Mum has a part-time job, Limited Capability for Work Universal Credit, and is sorting out a Personal Independence Payment appeal. She is trying to keep on top of her bills and we are providing Food Bank supplies to help out. Their second-hand washing machine is not working and needs replacing. With your kind donations, we want to provide a replacement.

We are requesting some money to buy a nine year old boy a bedframe, mattress and bedding. He has additional needs and both parents are not working so they can care for him and his sisters, so money is very tight. His current bed has broken and the mattress is soiled. This boy is now on medication, making it calmer at home and easier to fall asleep, but he now needs a comfortable and clean bed, mattress and bedding.
