£0 remaining for a cooker
K, a cleaner for a wealthy lady, has been evicted, needed to find new housing and has lost her job. She is very dynamic and a go getter, but is beset with health problems. K has chronic arthritis and is about to have an operation on her foot which will mean she won't be able to work for twelve months. She has been given housing and we are helping her furnish it, but it comes without a cooker. Please can you help K to get a cooker?
A, who has moved to the UK and now has refugee status, needs to purchase a travel document, but is out of work at the moment and cannot afford it. He has a new born and a toddler to provide for, so it's a struggle for him financially. The travel document costs £280 in total so this would be most of the money towards it and he would be able to fund the rest himself with a bit of help from friends and family around him.
This is an application for A who has recently escaped domestic abuse at the hands of her husband and is living alone in temporary accommodation, being several months pregnant. Due to A's immigration status, she does not have access to public funds and has a very limited support structure. She has hardly any money to live on and is at a most vulnerable time during her life, due to her pregnancy. A desperately needs support in the form of food to help sustain her and her unborn child.
G is a father of three children, an eleven year old child and three year old twins. The family was moved to temporary accommodation out of the area, meaning that they were having to travel over thirty miles a day for the school run, and unable to save money as they only receive Universal Credit. They have now been moved back to the area, but have moved from a fully furnished home to a home with nothing. We are requesting support for a bed to support this family in their move.
