£0 remaining for a washing machine
C has post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and other mental health conditions, which mean she is unable to work and receives benefits. She has been without a washing machine for some months and gets the bus to her son's house to do the washing there, but this is difficult. C also supports her other son, who also has mental health issues. She would really appreciate your support in purchasing a washing machine to make things easier for her. Many thanks.
This lady has been visiting our centre for some time and is on benefits which are insufficient to cover her basic needs. She is struggling to afford necessities, including food, which is affecting her overall wellbeing. We are urgently seeking your support to help furnish her home. This lady is in desperate need of a wardrobe and a large chest of drawers to improve her living conditions. Any assistance towards these essential items would be appreciated and would reduce the stress she faces daily.
This lady and her 1 year old child were relocated to Southend due to domestic violence and are in temporary accommodation without cooking facilities. Relying solely on Universal Credit, she cannot afford takeaway meals. We would like to provide balanced, nutritious meals for the next 6 weeks to ease her burden and ensure she and her daughter have proper meals for lunch and dinner, offering much needed support during this challenging time.
This gentleman, a former Armed Forces member, became homeless 3 years ago and has been diagnosed with PTSD, relying on drugs and medication as coping mechanisms. He has been using our centre's services and we have seen significant progress. We kindly request your assistance in providing one to one counselling to help improve his mental health and develop healthier coping strategies, moving away from substance use. This support will be life changing and help him rebuild his future.
