£0 remaining for a Debt Relief Order
X, a single parent of two young children, has been really struggling during the cost of living crisis and came to Christians Against Poverty (CAP) for help with her debts. She has worked well with CAP, who have advised that a Debt Relief Order is her best route out of debt. X cannot raise the fee, as all her money goes on regular bills and food. Any help would be so appreciated and will give this young family a fresh start. X hopes to return to work when the youngest child starts nursery in April.
E is a single gentleman who is living alone with different chronic illnesses. He has recently moved out of his temporary accommodation into a permanent address. E is very grateful for the support that has been provided, but still doesn't have a cooker and a washing machine in the house. This is limiting E in making homemade meals, which is a requirement, as he is required to eat healthy, due to his health conditions. Your support will be highly appreciated.
Mum is a single parent to her three daughters, one of whom has quite high health needs, and the family are very isolated. The oven has broken and mum is struggling to make affordable meals for her family. She is struggling with her finances and isn't able to cover the cost of a new oven. We would like to help mum with the cost of a gas oven which would make a big difference to this family, as mum would be able to cook healthier and more economical meals. Please could you help this family? Thank you.
M is a single mum who was in temporary accommodation, due to a breakdown in marriage. She has been given a new property which has concrete floors, and is in need of a living room carpet as this is the main room they will all be using. M has applied for a job (and hopefully will get it) as she had to leave her last employment, due to moving to a different area. M, who is waiting for her benefits to be processed, is stressed due to all the life changes she is experiencing.
