£0 remaining for a washing machine
G and his wife are working with Christians Against Poverty to help find a debt solution. Due to unmanageable debt, they are struggling to make ends meet and have now found themselves in need of a new washing machine as their current one has broken. As they cannot afford a new machine themselves, they would be very grateful to receive this financial support. Thank you in advance.
F is a twenty eight year old single woman who has had her life turned upside down by the financial abuse of her ex-partner, who opened loans and contracts in her name, with no intention of ever repaying her. She never had debts before, but now was almost suicidal trying to cope with the texts, phone calls and letters from bailiffs. Christians Against Poverty is helping F to sort out her finances, but in the meantime we would like to help her with credit for her phone, gas and electricity, and some food stuffs.
D, a single parent to a twelve year old boy, has custody of his son since he was a baby, as mum suffers with mental health issues. He works part-time, is on low income and struggles financially. On a recent home visit, it was noted that the place was quite sparse and the sofa in disrepair. A sofa will enable D and his son to relax on movie nights and spend quality father and son time together. It will also add to the environment by making the place homely and welcoming. Thank you very much.
R, a fifty nine year old man who was formerly homeless, but is now housed, is a keen volunteer at his local foodbank. He moved from one supported house to another and the changeover of the utilities did not go smoothly. R got into arrears through no fault of his own and that flared up his depression. Christians Against Poverty is helping him to deal with his debts, but R needs money to make his new place a home. He would like to paint the walls, buy a bedside table, and a dining table and chairs in order to get the place cosier, hopefully before Christmas
