You can instead make a general donation and the Acts 435 team will allocate it to the most urgent requests.
A is a single mum whose husband died a few years ago and she is raising her young daughter alone. English is not her first language and she is doing her best to work a few hours a week around her daughter's school hours, but has to claim benefits to help her get by too. A's washing machine recently broke and she has no money to pay for a replacement. Our church already supports her as best they can, but our furniture project doesn't cover white goods. Please can you help?

Total needed £200This lady desperately needs to sell her flat to clear substantial debts. She previously worked at Gatwick Airport, but a back fracture followed by a heart attack led to job loss and spiralling debts, in turn leading to anxiety, depression and suicidal ideation. Since working with Christians Against Poverty, this lady has become a regular attender at our mid-week discipleship group and is slowly turning her life around. Money for man with van hire and an Energy Performance Certificate would be very much appreciated.

Total needed £200L, a single parent who has been vulnerable for many years, is contending with difficult mental health and in poor living accommodation. We have been advocating for her since 2021. Mum's house is nearing completion after a very protracted and challenging period where so many issues have had to be addressed in the property. L's washing machine has just broken and is is her birthday today. We would value your help to get a new washing machine which is critical for any home.

She has a hole in her roof that needs fixing urgently as the leek is near to electric points. This lady, who is a regular churchgoer, has had a quote of £350 and is asking for £200 towards this.

Total needed £200X is living on the breadline and has had an issue with her bank which, although now resolved, means she needs help over the next few months to pay for utilities and her mortgage. She was beaten up in the past which left her with mental health issues that may have contributed to the problems she is experiencing at present. Total needed £200C, a mum of two children aged twelve and thirteen, suffers from depression, anxiety and panic attacks, and is a recovering alcoholic. Recently made redundant, and nearly evicted, she is separated from her husband who currently has the children living with him whilst his wife has been dealing with health concerns. C receives Universal Credit and Personal Independence Payment and is making progress in paying off her debts. She is moving to be closer to her children but is unable to cover the removal costs, therefore, we are requesting £200 to help with this new start.

Total needed £200J, a single mum with four children aged fifteen, thirteen, eight and one, is receiving Universal Credit and Child Benefit. Her fifteen year old daughter is autistic with severe mental health concerns. She has not been attending school, awaiting an Education Health & Care Plan. J secured a house transfer to be closer to school, but the house is in poor condition with no flooring. She also has mental health conditions and post traumatic stress disorder. We are requesting support towards flooring in the daughter's bedroom.

Total needed £200CP has lived in emergency homeless accommodation for three years. He has connected well with our church, attending services and helping in the kitchen to prepare meals for the very outreaches that brought him to our door, as well as other church hospitality. His confidence has grown and his faith is growing. We have been able to help secure a home in supported housing for CP and will need help to buy a bed, bedding and bedroom furniture for his new room. Please can you help make that happen for him?

Total needed £200S, a single mum living in supported housing, needs a laptop to look for paid employment and for her children to do homework with. Mum receives Universal Credit and is already struggling to cope with the rising cost of living, so is unable to purchase a laptop herself. S has no family in this country and only has a small support network. This laptop would benefit her family so much.

Total needed £200Z, who has arrived in the UK from Iran, would like to have a sewing machine. She is unable to afford most clothing items and would like to make them herself, as well as mend her children outfits. She is also wanting to spend her time in sewing, as it keeps her occupied and help her to feel better in herself, rather than feeling bored and depressed. Z is on Universal Credit so couldn't afford one otherwise.

Total needed £150L lives with her daughter and her family, due to her daughter being her carer, has ovarian cancer. She had a 16.5lb tumour removed last year and received chemotherapy, and also has a hole in the back of her eye. L receives pension credits and Personal Independence Payment. The family live in a council property which only has a small bath and as L is unable to get up in order to get out of the bath, we are requesting funding for grab rails and shower plumbing parts to enable her to wash safely and with dignity.

Total needed £200TM, who has a mental health disability and is signed off work, has been in touch with the Christians Against Poverty team (CAP), due to escalating debts. CAP will work with him to try to reduce his debts and support him with a personal finance plan to help him. TM, who lives alone in rented accommodation, struggles to afford to travel to a launderette most weeks, and his washing machine has been irreparable for a long time. TM is desperately in need of a replacement and we have sourced one for £199.99. Please can you help?
