The family's lives revolve around his complex needs, and he has responded well to sensory equipment in hospital, where fibre optic curtain lights have had a calming effect on him. Installing these at home would be really beneficial to O and his family. The family are dependent upon benefits and are in debt due to other expenditure to help their son.
