Give to someone in need
Acts 435 is about giving to people directly, to help them bridge the gap when they are facing a financial crisis.
Can you help a specific person in need?
Read stories of the applicants below and give as you feel able. Any amount will make a big difference to someone who is struggling.
You can instead make a general donation and the Acts 435 team will allocate it to the most urgent requests.

Total needed £200One of the lone parents SMILE works with is concerned about her son, aged twelve, who is struggling to express his emotions. He has been excluded from school after a series of angry outbursts. Mum has found a good counsellor and her son is benefitting from the sessions he has had, however, she can't afford to pay for more. We have worked with the counsellor to reduce the rate to just £20 per session and want to be able to pay for ten sessions, as we all know it will make a real difference to this young person's life.

Total needed £120We would love you to join us in supporting a lady who has turned her life around by going sober and working her way out of debt. She is learning to drive so her and her son can be more independent. Thanks to backpay from her benefits, this lady has been able to pay for most of her lessons, but does not quite have enough for the test fees and two more lessons. She would be so grateful for your support to get her through this final stage of learning to drive.
