Give to someone in need
Acts 435 is about giving to people directly, to help them bridge the gap when they are facing a financial crisis.
Can you help a specific person in need?
Read stories of the applicants below and give as you feel able. Any amount will make a big difference to someone who is struggling.
You can instead make a general donation and the Acts 435 team will allocate it to the most urgent requests.

C has been referred to us by her Health Visitor, due to her and the children surviving only on benefits and struggling to make ends meet. Mum has a washing machine which is now at the end of it's life. It has been repaired previously, but now the bearings have also gone. C would really appreciate your support in helping to purchase a replacement washing machine. Many thanks.
Still £200 left to donate
Total needed £200L and her young son were referred to us by the school. Mum has health issues and receives benefits. She bought a washing machine on Facebook sales, but it broke fairly quickly and she has now been without a washing machine for nearly a year. L cannot always get to a launderette so she tries her best to hand wash items in the bath. Mum would really appreciate your support in helping to purchase a washing machine.
Still £175 left to donate
Total needed £200A, who previously worked in nursing, suffers from a mental health condition and diabetes. He has lived in a social housing property for a few years and the cooker that was in the property, prior to him arriving, broke around six months ago. His carers contacted us, as they were concerned about him. He has a microwave, but could do with a cooker to enable him to cook proper meals, which will help his diabetes and mental health. Our client would really appreciate your support in purchasing a cooker. Many thanks.

Total needed £200A, who previously worked in nursing, suffers from a mental health condition and diabetes. He has lived in his social housing property for a few years. A hasn't got a washing machine and previously has taken his washing to a family member, on the bus, but this is challenging and his carers have noticed he is often unkempt. His carers contacted us, as they were concerned about him. A would really appreciate your support in purchasing a washing machine. Many thanks.
