£0 remaining for a children's bedroom carpet
C has three children aged eleven years, eight years and eight months. The eleven year old is autistic and awaiting a diagnosis to receive support. C has had thyroid cancer and also has anxiety and mental health concerns. She receives Universal Credit which is not sufficient to cover basic costs. They are in one bedroom temporary accommodation, but will be moved to a property which is completely empty. There is currently no flooring and so we are seeking for your support to carpet the children's bedroom.
T, a single parent who also works as a nurse, is struggling with debt and trying to make ends meet, but has no recourse to public funds. In order to get to her shift on time in the morning, mum has to take a taxi journey of nine miles to work, as she is unable to drop off her young daughter at breakfast club before school early enough to be able to take a bus. Please would you help to support her as she tries to care for her child while finding ways to get herself back on her feet?
R lives with her partner and two children aged three and four. Her four year old has autism and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). Mum is in receipt of Universal Credit and Child Benefit. Her chest freezer has broken; she goes shopping once a month in order to batch buy and the freezer means the food lasts longer. Due to her son's conditions, he is a picky eater and going shopping is difficult. We are requesting support for her to be able to replace her freezer.
