Give to someone in need
Acts 435 is about giving to people directly, to help them bridge the gap when they are facing a financial crisis.
Can you help a specific person in need?
Read stories of the applicants below and give as you feel able. Any amount will make a big difference to someone who is struggling.
You can instead make a general donation and the Acts 435 team will allocate it to the most urgent requests.

J, who has recently been housed, lives alone, but his daughter comes to stay every other weekend. He receives Universal Credit and is struggling at the moment. J would really appreciate your support in purchasing a cooker. Many thanks for your support.
Still £200 left to donate
Total needed £200J, a mum of three children aged fifteen, ten and four, is also seven months pregnant. The fifteen year old has attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) and autism. Mum receives Universal Credit meaning that she has limited funds. The family oven keeps cutting out and is dangerous. We are requesting support for the family to be able to purchase an oven for safety, and nutritious meals.
Still £60 left to donate
Total needed £200N, who had a house fire in June, lost everything and, sadly, was uninsured. She has been living in a hotel with her three children and it has been really challenging. Fortunately, she has found a new home with a local social landlord, but it comes without floor coverings. Because of N's low income, she simply can't afford to buy carpets. One of her children is disabled and she is desperate to make the new house into a home. Carpets would be an important part of that. We have an offer of free carpets, but need your help to pay for the fitting.
Still £100 left to donate
Total needed £200This single mum and her fifteen year old son have had significant hardship and troubles over the last few years. The son's bed is falling apart and is rotten, and mum can't afford to pay for a new one. He would really benefit from a new bed, as it would enable him to sleep well, which will then help him to concentrate at school.
