Give to someone in need
Acts 435 is about giving to people directly, to help them bridge the gap when they are facing a financial crisis.
Can you help a specific person in need?
Read stories of the applicants below and give as you feel able. Any amount will make a big difference to someone who is struggling.
You can instead make a general donation and the Acts 435 team will allocate it to the most urgent requests.

A, an asylum seeker who is part of our weekly drop In sessions, only has a phone as digital device, and it’s difficult for him to access any online learning opportunities or information on the small screen of his phone. It would help him a lot to increase his English skills and move on in life through having his own laptop. Thank you so much for enabling A to get a second-hand laptop.

Total needed £160This lady is a refugee, having left her country as she was in danger when she converted to Christianity. She heard the gospel through someone she met on the internet and, after Bible study and many questions, yearned for the love and forgiveness that Christianity promised. This lady has now been given her own place and needs to furnish it. She is on benefits, whilst studying, so doesn't have the means to buy a washing machine. If you can help, this lady would be very grateful.

Total needed £200This lady is a refugee with leave to remain. She converted to Christianity whilst she was still in her home country, having heard the gospel through a Christian she met on line. She was very happy to come to know the Lord as her Saviour, but this put her in great danger. This lady has now been given her own place, but as she is still on benefits, has no funds to furnish it. She needs a fridge freezer and would be grateful for any help you can give.

Total needed £200A, her mum and teenage sister were trafficked and A was a victim of modern slavery and sexual assault. She is receiving treatment for her trauma. The family are reliant on benefits at the moment and struggling to make ends meet with the high cost of housing. They currently have a very thin and unsuitable double mattress to sleep on and would really benefit from a better one in order to get a good night's sleep. Many thanks for your support.

Total needed £175L is a single parent with a six year old son who is renting a room with a shared bathroom and kitchen. Mum, who came to the UK to escape sexual violence, and is HIV positive, has no recourse to public funds. The rooms are damp and inadequately heated, which exacerbates her health problems, so having heating that she can control would greatly improve their wellbeing. The only saucepan in the kitchen is small and L would like to be able to bulk cook their meals for the week, as she is keen to improve their diet.

Total needed £140I was able to chat with M who is a single mum with two children. She came to the UK to claim asylum and was granted private life in the UK. Mum is unable to work, due to health issues, but she volunteers at a local donation hub which helps others who are in need. M would be very grateful to have a good sized mini oven as she has no cooker in her home. Some utensils and somewhere to stand the mini oven on would be very much appreciated. Thank you for reading this.
