Give to someone in need
Acts 435 is about giving to people directly, to help them bridge the gap when they are facing a financial crisis.
Can you help a specific person in need?
Read stories of the applicants below and give as you feel able. Any amount will make a big difference to someone who is struggling.
You can instead make a general donation and the Acts 435 team will allocate it to the most urgent requests.

A, who is fifty eight and is originally from Tripoli, moved here twenty five years ago and has always worked until arthritis caused degeneration in his shoulder, leading to severe pain. He has taken different courses to retrain, but hasn't managed to find a job as yet. A receives Universal Credit, but does not have a lot left once he has paid his rent and bills. He attended his appointment with us and we noticed his clothes and shoes had holes in them. A needs our help over the winter months to keep warm.
Still £200 left to donate
Total needed £200This lady has had a really positive year in dealing with problems which have plagued her for years. She finally faced up to her problem debt and as of last month now is free from this and is looking to the future with hope. However, the fallout of the process towards being debt free has left her really short at a difficult time of year with Christmas just round the corner. This money, if raised, will pay for a food shop which will see her through the month of December and into a brighter 2025.
Still £100 left to donate
Total needed £100A was assaulted and had his mobile stolen; he is still recovering from his injuries. He has been made redundant and is waiting for his Universal Credit to start (so has no income). He has done really well after overcoming a drug problem 18 months ago, but because of this situation he needs help to get him through this until he can start receiving Universal Credit or find a job.
