Give to someone in need
Acts 435 is about giving to people directly, to help them bridge the gap when they are facing a financial crisis.
Can you help a specific person in need?
Read stories of the applicants below and give as you feel able. Any amount will make a big difference to someone who is struggling.
You can instead make a general donation and the Acts 435 team will allocate it to the most urgent requests.

G, who lives with her husband and looks after her grandson two days and nights per week, has a number of health conditions including spondylosis and arthritis. Her husband has problems with his knees and hands, as well as diabetes. Their grandson has autism and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), and they look after him to help their daughter who also has poor health. G, who receives Pension Credit, is struggling to cook safely. An electric multi-cooker will assist with this, as G will not need to lift it, which she is unable to do at the moment.

Total needed £80This applicant was homeless, but now has a job and is in rented accommodation. Amongst other items, she does not have a bed and as this lady is disabled, she needs a super-king size mattress suitable for her disability. Total needed £200Vinyl flooring is required for a household with sight impaired child, as the existing worn flooring is a trip hazard. This child lives with his young adult sibling in a kinship care arrangement. The birth parents couldn’t look after the child due to long term drug addiction, so it is a very traumatic background for this innocent child.
