Give to someone in need
Acts 435 is about giving to people directly, to help them bridge the gap when they are facing a financial crisis.
Can you help a specific person in need?
Read stories of the applicants below and give as you feel able. Any amount will make a big difference to someone who is struggling.
You can instead make a general donation and the Acts 435 team will allocate it to the most urgent requests.

D`s twelve year old son has complex needs, including attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) and autism. He gets very frustrated and damages household items and, therefore, mum is constantly having to replace items, but out of her benefits it is impossible to buy a new bed and bedding for him. Currently D is at breaking point as she receives no support for him, although they are waiting for an appointment to have his medication changed and she is hoping this will help. At the moment her her son is sleeping on the sofa. Please could you help them?
Still £170 left to donate
Total needed £200J came to the charity to ask for food support for the first time, as he recently got asked to go self-employed by his employer. He agreed to this action, but has now found himself with no work and no pay until February 2025. This has added stress to his young family who are unable to manage with no money. We have helped J to make a Universal Credit claim; however, the process time to receive this is long, meaning he will not be able to pay rent and bills. All support will be greatly received.
Still £185 left to donate
Total needed £200A was assaulted and had his mobile stolen; he is still recovering from his injuries. He has been made redundant and is waiting for his Universal Credit to start (so has no income). He has done really well after overcoming a drug problem 18 months ago, but because of this situation he needs help to get him through this until he can start receiving Universal Credit or find a job.
