£200 needed for an electric cooker
J is a single father to an autistic teenager who has specific nutrition needs. Unfortunately they had a flood from the upstairs flat and their cooker broke. J struggles with mobility and has insomnia. He is on universal credit. He does receive Disability Living Allowance for his son. He has no savings and cannot afford a replacement cooker. J would love a new oven to cook nutritious meals again for himself and his son. Any contribution to this much needed cooker would be gratefully received.

£170 needed for a second hand laptop
A. joined her husband in Lancaster a few months ago thanks to a family reunion. She is ill with cancer but is trying to settle down in the UK as best as she can. Thank you so much for helping her with this.
£200 needed for thermal curtains and a door curtain
My client at Christians Against Poverty came to us via a welfare check. It was a serious incident resulting in social services getting involved. Now, they are feeling happier and more stable. In fact, they are now looking for work! They are having their flat deep cleaned and to help them keep their bills down, they would like some thermal curtains and also a thermal door curtain.
£175 needed for a double bed frame
S. is currently sleeping on her sofa as she cannot afford a bed. All available income is directed towards preventing eviction and to essential bills. This has left her unable to purchase basic furniture for herself. Sleeping on the sofa is having a negative impact on her sleep and overall wellbeing, adding to the stress she is already experiencing from her financial difficulties. A grant for a bed would provide her with a safe and comfortable place to sleep and improving her health.

F was a teaching assistant but due to the demands of parenting and her health condition, F had to cease work and is now reliant on PIP and Universal Credit. F is very focused on raising her children and ensuring they get the best education. Recently, F's sofa broke and she cannot afford another one. F would be so grateful to receive a grant to purchase a new sofa so her family can sit together in the living room.

My client is a new mum and getting to grips with motherhood on top of her health issues has been challenging. This has put a huge strain on her already tight finances. Please may you consider helping this mum and baby with a voucher she can use to buy food and essentials including toiletries and nappies? Thank you
