October Prayer Bulletin

He got up, rebuked the wind and said to the waves, “Quiet! Be still!” Then the wind died down and it was completely calm. He said to his disciples, “Why are you so afraid? Do you still have no faith?”

Hebrews 11:1-3

We had a fantastic day with some of our Key Partners a couple of weeks ago. We're thankful that the sun was shining, there was such a positive atmosphere and everyone was able to travel safely to Bishopthorpe Palace in York.

It reminded us how blessed we are to have such a dedicated team of Advocates all over the UK who are going above and beyond to serve those in their communities. Please do hold them in your prayers as they face many challenges in their church/charity, such as time constraints, capacity and lack of funding.

Some of our Key Partners who were able to travel to be with us.

Firstly this month we are very thankful to God for:

An article in the Evangelical Alliance Magazine, Idea, which has just been sent to all of their supporters and partner churches. Please pray for a good response from both churches, who may want to partner with us, and individuals who want to donate through our website.

Our Key Partner Gathering which took place in September. We had a fantastic time gathering together, encouraging each other in our work, and sharing ideas and best practice.

The 457 individuals and families who have been helped in September by Acts 435 Advocates and donors, with £74,825 distributed to those who need it most.

Please join us in praying for:

Our partnership with Warm Welcome as we look at how we could best partner together to help those who are visiting Warm Welcome spaces over the winter months.

A new connection with At A Loss that provides bereavement courses for churches. Please pray that we're able to resource these churches with our unique way of helping.

Our churches as they share our new winter leaflet with their congregations. Please pray that we will see more individuals wanting to support our work, and those we seek to help.

Our team as we look towards our Christmas Campaign, and how we can best engage donors and supporters over the festive season.

As always, thank you for your prayers for these individuals, our Advocates and for Acts 435 as we seek to do more for those in need in the UK.

Best wishes,
Katie
