Noah's Ark

G has struggled with alcohol addiction and has been street homeless. With a lot of support, he is managing to get his life back on track and has been offered a flat. His only income is from benefits and he is struggling to buy everything he needs to set up home. To make the flat a home, G really needs some carpets. Amazingly, we have been offered free carpets, but need a little help with the cost of fitting.

T has lots of health conditions and disabilities; she is agoraphobic and doesn't go out. She has got into a mess and her house is now currently in a state. She desperately needs her rooms decorating and carpets fitting. We are helping to supply, free of charge, carpets and underlay but we need help with fitting costs. We're really hoping that someone will be T's angel and help with the cost of fitting.

K is a single parent who has complexed physical health and mental health issues. She is being supported to ensure she has a safe, warm and comfortable home environment for her children. Her only income is from benefits and she has no savings. Her house is uncarpeted which means it's cold, damp and unsafe for her children. We're hoping that someone reading this request will come to her aid and make her house into a home.

C, who is currently out of work and in receipt benefits, is also pregnant and trying to get items for her new baby, but it's hard as she has few family around her to offer support. She has been able to rent her first house and is desperate to make it a home for her. What C needs is carpets for her and her baby. We have the carpets, but need help with the cost of fitting. Any help offered would be gratefully received.

J, who is living on her own after leaving a violent relationship, is suffering quite badly with her mental health and is currently unable to work, due to her health conditions. She has been rehoused after a period living in a women's refuge, but the proper is uncarpeted. J's only income is from benefits and with no savings, she is unable to afford the cost of carpets. We have amazing offer of free carpets, but just a little help with the fitting costs.
