C struggles daily with her mental and physical health, as both her son and daughter are autistic and daily life is challenging. C and her partner try their best, but find it hard to make their funds stretch. There are no carpets in the children's bedrooms or on the stairs and landing, and the children are often hurting themselves and getting splinters in their feet.
