£200 needed for a sofa, dining table and chairs

This family was referred to us by our sister organisation and is struggling financially after moving into a new property. They currently have no furniture and we are urgently seeking your assistance to help furnish their home with a dining table, four chairs, and a large sofa. At present, the family is sitting and eating on the floor, and the situation is impacting the socialisation of their children. Your support would make a significant difference in improving their quality of life.

£200 needed for beds and mattress

This family of four was referred to us by Southend City Council and is currently in need of support, due to having no recourse to public funds. They are living in a one bedroom property with no furniture, and the entire family is sleeping on the floor. We are urgently seeking your assistance to provide two single beds and mattresses for their children, which will greatly improve their living conditions and provide some much needed comfort. Any support would be greatly appreciated.

£200 needed for a washing machine

This woman has been a long-time user of our services, due to debilitating long-term health problems, both physical and mental. She recently moved into a new flat which, unfortunately, has no furniture or white goods, apart from a fridge. This lack of basic necessities is severely affecting her mental health, and she is particularly distressed by her inability to clean her clothes. We are urgently seeking your help to provide her with a washing machine, which would greatly improve her situation .

£200 needed for counselling

This gentleman has been a dedicated volunteer with us through the Pioneer Volunteer Program for many months, facing challenges with mental health and struggling with drugs and alcohol. Sadly, childhood abuse has impacted his development into adulthood, leaving unresolved issues in need of attention. This gentleman has been an invaluable asset and acknowledges his recent health decline. We urgently ask for your assistance with six counselling sessions which we believe will greatly aid his recovery and wellbeing.

£200 needed for a washing machine

This gentleman is a long-term user of our services, relying on us for both food and mental health support. He faces significant mental health challenges, is unable to work, and has a history of homelessness, bearing physical and mental scars. St Vincent de Paul is his only trusted support network, as he finds traditional services intimidating and has a history of non-engagement. We are urgently requesting a washing machine so this gentleman can manage his personal hygiene with clean clothes.
