Safe Families - Midlands

We have met this young mum of three children who has moved to a new property, ready for her two older children who are coming back into her care. She is isolated and has coped with her children being in care, as well as having a new baby aged seven weeks old. Mum is working hard to set up her new flat and is desperately in need of a vacuum cleaner, as the bedrooms in her flat are carpeted and she currently has no way to clean them. We would love for this resource to show her that she isn't alone.

We are looking to be able to help this mum and her five children to buy a coffee table and a sideboard for their home, primarily for storage. They are under significant financial pressure as they are are a single parent household with a large number of children. They have experienced domestic abuse in their home, so mum is keen to redecorate and make it feel more like a safe place.

We are working with a family of five who are currently in need of a tumble dryer. Their existing dryer has broken and they are facing significant challenges, especially on rainy days when drying clothes becomes nearly impossible in their flat, particularly with no outside space. If you are able to contribute any amount towards a new tumble dryer, it would greatly ease their burden. This family is doing their best to manage, but a new dryer would be such a relief, especially with young children in the house. Thank you so much for your support!
