£100 needed for a double wardrobe and one set of drawers

R, who has fled domestic violence, is a single mum of three children and the family are in need of storage as they had to leave everything behind. Mum, who is waiting for her benefits to be processed, is using cardboard boxes and getting depressed as clothes need to be hung up because the boxes keep getting ripped when the children climb on them. A wardrobe and set of drawers is needed for storage of toys and clothes. They have no family to help, as R brought shame on the family when she left her husband.

£200 needed for supplying and fitting a living room carpet

This single mum, who is struggling to make ends meet on a very low income, and in debt, is in need of a living room carpet. The previous carpet in the property had been cleaned many times, but was too dangerous to leave down, as it had holes and became a trip hazard for the family. We have rugs down currently, as the floor is concrete and cold, and mum just cannot find any way of buying a living room carpet
