Providing a bed and safety

Tara*, who was requesting funds of £200 to replace a single bed and mattress, is currently under police protection, following the release of a violent and persistent ex-partner. She is struggling with her own severe mental health, but the situation is also having an impact on her two children. Both children have complex needs and, unfortunately, because of the stress and anxiety, a new bed was needed for one of the children, due to bed wetting.

Tara was so grateful to receive the bed for one of her children, and said:

"Thank you so much for your generous donations towards providing my daughter with a new bed and mattress which she desperately needed. She is absolutely over the moon with it, and she's even more happy that her teddy has a comfy place to sleep now too. With the remaining money, I was able to buy my daughter some warm winter clothes which she was also in need of. We are so grateful for the generosity we have received and are so, so thankful! Thank you so much! Helping us obtain these items has taken so much pressure off. Thank you."
