Watch us on Songs of Praise this Sunday

Tune in on Sunday, 17th December, 1:15pm, to see Acts 435 on BBC Songs of Praise, as they talk about 'Sharing the Joy of Christmas'.

You will hear from our recipient, Colleen, who was helped by Acts 435 donors, bringing joy into her difficult situation. You will also hear from Pat, the local Acts 435 Advocate who supported her with her request for help.

Colleen has terminal cancer, and was in desperate need of a new cooker, and some plastering in her kitchen to make it functional. Acts 435 donors stepped in to help her with these items. Our local partner Pat, from Chadderton Community Church has supported her throughout this process, which enabled her to talk to Colleen about her faith; and Colleen has recently accepted Jesus into her life.

Jenny, our Executive Director, also explains how our work is based on the biblical principles of the disciples, and how Christians are called to give to those in need.
