A is a single man living in shared accommodation who has a number of health conditions including myelofibrosis, gout, anxiety and depression. He works ten hours a week, but his health means he is unable to work more. A receives Universal Credit and Housing benefit, but his income does not cover outgoings and he is reliant upon community larders. His car exhaust needs replacing. Due to health conditions, A is reliant upon his car for getting around, but is unable to cover the full cost.

This man, who is on Universal Credit (UC), has had major knee surgery and is recovering now, although they don't think it was successful and he needs to have further surgery. Struggling with poor mental health, he is unable to work and his UC doesn't cover his bills, but all of it is being spent on them. This gentleman is using the foodbank and is getting help to increase his benefits. In the meantime, we would love to help with a petrol card and a mobile phone so he can stay connected and get out and about.

This family has struggled repeatedly with black mould, which has seriously aggravated their young daughter's asthma and impacted her health. Despite being rehoused by the council, they have again found themselves in a property with a mould problem. The council's efforts to treat the mould, as well as daily cleaning by the family, have been unsuccessful and their child's asthma is worsening again.
