£160 remaining for a washing machine
R is a single man who is on benefits following being medically retired from his career as a fire fighter due to ill health. He continues to struggle with his health issues and is being supported by his local Food Bank. R has recently been housed after a period of being homeless and would appreciate any support to enable him to purchase a washing machine to wash his own clothes and not using costly launderettes. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

E is a single lady who recently had surgery for bowel cancer and is now awaiting chemotherapy. She has a new bedsit, which is unfurnished, and her savings have been spent on moving costs. E is currently on sick leave and in receipt of basic Statutory Sick Pay so is struggling with basic living costs. The main carpet in the bedsit is dirty and stained, and she is concerned about the impact this will have on her compromised immune system. An estimated new carpet is £400. The church can pay £200 so help with the balance is needed.
