Safe Families are supporting an eleven year old girl who lives with her paternal grandmother and has done so since she was very young. When our Family Support Manager arrived at the family home for a visit last week, she could see that grandma looked physically exhausted and when asked, she shared that she is stressed with finances. Grandma is burdened by the cost of food shopping and Christmas, due to some unforeseen costs. Safe Families would love to provide a voucher to help with the cost of food.
